    Hey Robin,

I worked with a spiritual life coach about three years ago now. She really helped me tremendously because I had a lack of self confidence going into this internet business. I didn’t know what I was doing, I didn’t know who to listen to, I didn’t know who to trust so I had horrible issues moving forward.

I know from my own personal experience that I have no idea where I’d be today had I not worked with her. I’m pretty sure you do just as good a job as she does.

Best of luck to you with your coaching.

    Hi Robin,

Great Post Robin. Indeed a Life Coach can help people see what’s blocking them from achieving what they want in this life; that’s what a life coach can help people accomplish. Of course I agree that he helps to get people on the right path or discover a path they didn’t know was even there and this will sure shorten the learning curve which is huge in saving money and making money.

Thanks Robin for explaining the role of the life coach and wish you all the best with your coaching.

    Be Blessed,

    Neamat

    • Hi Neamat!

    Hi Robin,

When I first started out with my blog I had a coach helping me. She was great and without her, I would have have the success I’ve had. She helped me with my blog posts, business, provided valuable advice, and she even edited and did copywriting for me. She wasn’t considered a life coach so to speak, but she definitely sent me on my way.

I’d love to take advantage of your services in the future. It sounds like you are very knowledgeable and know exactly the steps needed to get people where they want to be.

Thanks so much for the information in this post and providing people with this awesome option.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Jess

    • Hi Jess!

Yes, that’s a specialist kind of coaching/training and it’s certainly great to hear how well it worked for you!

With life coaching, the coach works with the client on developing their skills and their mindset. For example, my mentor and teacher Anthony Robbins does not play tennis. But he worked with Andre Agassi when he hit a slump to turn it around. Agassi still had his tennis coach of course! But it was his mindset that was needing support and it was that that finally made the difference and gave him the edge he needed to start winning grand slam tournaments again.

Yeah absolutely right!!!! Life Coach may help people see what is blocking them from achieving what they want in this life. This post is really so informative for me. Thanks for sharing this.

    • Hi Fashstyle,

Thank you for your comment. Is anything blocking you from achieving what YOU want from your life?

Life Coach is a bit important these days. It makes the life a lot more easier and shortens the time span of learning.

  • Often, people seek the help of life coaches because they would like to get over the boredom of doing the usual things they do in their life, to be better in career, family, and financially. Life coaching can be an agent of change in every person’s life. A catalyst for change and to achieve their long time dreams.

    • Hi Tommy,

Thanks for your thoughtful comment. I’m not sure everyone who comes to me for coaching is necessarily ‘bored’, however each to their own. In my experience they are typically ‘driven’ and have a deep desire to step up and make a real difference to their own life and the lives of the ones they care about. Though to be perfectly frank, everyone has a different and unique ‘why?’ – and that’s what makes it such a fun and rewarding thing to do!

  • Rick

Having somebody to keep you motivated, positive, and to believe in you is so important! The question is – how can you be sure that you can fully trust someone to solve your problems?

    • Hi Rick,

That’s a great question! Having a coach does not absolve you, the client, of personal responsibility for your own decisions. As the article states, the relationship is a collaborative one, which ultimately means the client ALWAYS makes the final decision. It IS about YOUR life after all. In any case, I doubt the premise of your question. Can a coach ‘solve’ your problems? Absolutely not! A coach can help you clearly IDENTIFY the true nature of your problems and from that position of knowledge, can work with you to strategically unravel them. YOU solve your problems, your coach merely acts as a guide, sounding board and someone to whom you are voluntarily accountable.

Ultimately though Rick, you are right. There has to be ‘trust’. Not all coaches can work with all clients. Choosing a coach is a very personal decision. I would respectfully suggest if you hire a coach and find yourself giving away the power to resolve your own problems, then you have not chosen well. A good coach works within the beliefs and values of YOUR model of the world and never imposes his or her own model of the world, except by way of illustration if they identify a conflict in yours that you might like assistance with resolving.

A long answer Rick, to as I said a good question. I hope that answers it?

      My best,

      ~Robin~
